





Amanda Ursell is a qualified nutritionist with a post graduate diploma in dietetics. Born and brought up in West Sussex, England, Amanda studied at King's College, London University where she gained a 2:1 BSc degree in nutrition and the Associatedship of King's College (AKC). President of the Student Nutrition Society, on completion of her degree course, she spent a further year at King's to be awarded a post graduate diploma in Dietetics. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association; The Nutrition Society; The Guild of Health Writers and The Guild of Food Writers and has been made a Visiting Fellow of Oxford Brookes University. In 2003 Amanda was awarded the HFMA Health Writer of The Year award and in 1999 and 2000 was voted the most influential health professional in the UK. |
